Welcome to Renewly. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Renewly mobile application and related services. By downloading, installing, or using Renewly, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Renewly, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
2. Description of Service
Renewly is a subscription-tracking application that allows users to:
- Add and manage a list of recurring subscriptions, including cost, category, and billing cycle
- View upcoming renewals and monthly / yearly spend totals
- Receive local reminders before a subscription renews
- View a breakdown of spending by category (Premium)
3. User Accounts
Renewly does not require users to create an account to use the app. All features can be accessed without registration or login, and all data you enter is stored locally on your device.
4. Not Financial or Payment Software
Renewly is an informational tracking tool only. It does not connect to your bank, card issuer, or any subscription provider, and it does not process or initiate any payments on your behalf. Amounts, categories, and renewal dates are entered manually by you and are for your own reference. Always verify actual charges with your card issuer or the relevant service provider.
5. User Responsibilities
When using Renewly, you agree to:
- Use the application only for lawful purposes
- Enter accurate information for your own subscription tracking
- Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the application's functionality
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the application
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Renewly, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are the exclusive property of Renewly and are protected by intellectual property laws.
7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Renewly is free to use for up to 5 tracked subscriptions. Renewly Premium unlocks unlimited tracked subscriptions, custom reminder timing, and category insights, and is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play at the following intervals:
- Monthly subscription
- Yearly subscription (billed at a discounted annual rate)
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds are handled in accordance with the policies of the respective app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play), not by Renewly directly.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Renewly at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renewly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the application, including any missed or inaccurate renewal reminder.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use of Renewly after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
