At Renewly, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this policy carefully.

            Our Commitment: Renewly is designed with privacy-first principles. All your subscription data is stored locally on your device — we do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal information on our side. No signup or account creation is required.
        

1. Information Stored on Your Device

Renewly stores the following information locally on your device only:

Subscription details: Names, amounts, categories, billing cycles, and renewal dates you enter
Notes: Any optional notes you add to a subscription
Preferences: Your chosen currency and reminder lead time

Important: This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export it.

2. No Data Collection by Renewly

Renewly does not:

Require any signup or account creation
Collect or transmit your subscription data to our servers
Track your usage or behavior
Use analytics or third-party tracking services
Sell or share your data with third parties

3. Device Permissions

Renewly may request the following device permission:

Notifications: To send you a local reminder a few days before a subscription renews. These reminders are scheduled entirely on your device — no data is sent to a server to generate them.

4. In-App Purchases

Renewly offers an optional Premium subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks unlimited tracked subscriptions, custom reminder timing, and category insights. Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Renewly does not receive, process, or store your payment details (such as card numbers) — that information is handled solely by Apple or Google in accordance with their own privacy policies. Renewly only stores, on your device, whether your Premium entitlement is currently active.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data security is maintained through:

Local-only storage on your device
No cloud synchronization or remote backups by default
Your device's built-in security features (PIN, fingerprint, face recognition)

Since all data is stored locally, your data's security depends on your device's security settings. We recommend keeping your device secured with a PIN or biometric lock.

6. Your Control Over Your Data

You have complete control over your data:

Access: View all your subscriptions within the app at any time
Edit: Modify or update any subscription you've added
Delete: Remove any or all subscriptions from the app

Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all data stored by Renewly on your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Renewly does not knowingly collect information from children, since no personal data is collected by us in the first place. The app is intended for general audiences managing their own subscriptions.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated policy on this page. Your continued use of Renewly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
